Seamless Web needed a promotional product that would drive customer traffic to their web site and increase orders.

Seamless Web is an online service that lets people order delivery and takeout meals from the comfort of their homes and offices. Billing itself as the “fastest, easiest, and smartest way to order delivery online,” the company wanted a giveaway that would embody this brand identity.

In addition to making life easier for loyal users, Seamless Web also wanted the product to increase web traffic and conversions. The company teamed up with the ePromos Agency to find a custom giveaway item that could achieve these goals.

Solution

A completely custom USB-powered accessory that allowed customers to begin the ordering process by pushing a button.

To start, ePromos gave the Since Seamless Web is an online service, the ePromos team came up with the idea of a USB-powered “Push to Eat” button that plugged directly into customers’ computers. When a customer presses the button, Seamless Web’s site automatically loads and begins the ordering process!

The only problem with this idea was that the USB button didn’t exist yet. With specific client needs in mind, the ePromos agency team spoke with several overseas manufacturers and relayed the design specs. After speaking with potential sources, the agency team chose a dependable manufacturer could fulfill the order on-time and under budget.

Results

The USB buttons were delivered on-time; a significant increase in web traffic was recorded.

When the custom USB buttons arrived from overseas, Seamless Web began distributing thousands of them right away! The company recorded an immediate increase in the amount of traffic the web site was receiving, and the they were soon swamped with requests from those who wanted a Push to Eat button of their own.

Since the initial campaign kick-off, Seamless Web has seen a continuous return on their investment. Customers continue to use the USB button on a daily basis, and the company looks forward to similar promotions in the future!
